This Dementia Care program from Jay Academy teaches proper dementia care. Dementia refers to a spectrum of brain disorders that involve difficulty with memory and thinking. This course will introduce you to the main symptoms and treatments of dementia as well as Alzheimer’s disease. You will also learn about the characteristics of people with dementia and the guidelines for choosing activities that are stimulating for them.
